Basic Navigation

The Lessonator™ user interface was designed to allow for quick navigation between views. The most frequently used commands have buttons, keyboard shortcuts and a menu entry for maximum accessibility.

  • Use the (⌘=) shortcut to move quickly between Timeline and 3D Frame - the work views where slide content is edited.

  • Use the (⌘\) shortcut to toggle between objects and nodes drawing of Timeline and 3D Frame view.

  • Use the (⌘.) shortcut to bring up the Slide panel, which lets you add media and choose template and 3d instruments for a slide.

  • You can rest the cursor over most user interface buttons and to bring up and explanatory tooltip.

  • Whenever an object is selected, its parameters can be modified using the inspector view.

  • Use the (⌘1, ⌘2, ⌘3) shortcuts to show/hide the Back, 3D Instrument and Front layers respectively.

  • For most objects, double-clicking on their graphical representation in Timeline or 3D Frame views will automatically change the side view to Inspector - thereby allowing you to change their parameters.
